Local Brew Pub to Throw Beer Bash Rolling Out Two Newly Brewed Seasonals:
Lil' Black IPA and Waffle Brown Ale
Washington, DC - Capitol City Brewing Company is gearing up to tap the kegs of two new seasonals at a special Tapping Party this Wednesday. On January 18 from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m., the DC area's first brew pub will host a one-of-a-kind tapping party at its Shirlington Village location unveiling two new brews of its very own Lil' Black IPA and Waffle Brown Ale. Capitol City's in-house brewers will be on hand and available to talk about the beer and answer questions. Food and drink specials will last all night including $5 select appetizers.
Capitol City's Lil' Black IPA is a take on the Black IPA with a twist. At 5.2% ABV, the volume of malt for this highly quaffable IPA was toned down allowing the blend of American hops to shine through. The Waffle Brown is an American Brown Ale reformed with pure maple syrup and spiked with maple syrup extract - a rich malty body makes this a "breakfast in a glass" at 6.5% ABV.
