Charity Night at Samuel Beckett's Irish Gastro Pub
Please join Samuel Beckett's Irish Gastro Pub in raising funds for men's cancer awareness this Monday night, October 31st, at Beckett's Pub. The event starts at 7 P.M. with the "Sweeney Todd Shave Off" All participants will get a clean shave by a professional barber so that they can have a level start at growing mustaches for the month of Movember. It's a a night of great live music with drink and food specials with their house band, The 19th Street Band. All donations are greatly appreciated!
During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in the US and around the world. With their Mo’s, these men raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men.

Unproduced for almost 45 years, Saturday Night is the first musical Mr. Sondheim ever wrote. This romantic comedy surges with the composer’s unique musical voice and sophisticated lyrics. On the eve of the 1929 stock market crash, a group of Brooklyn boys despair their dateless Saturday nights. One of them dreams of Manhattan society life and hatches a get rich quick scheme which ultimately backfires. Features gems such as “Saturday Night,” “So Many People” and “What More Do I Need?”
